Paul Wilson ran a solo unsupported winter Bob Graham Round in 22hrs 54m and he passed James Gibson as he set a new winter solo and unsupported BGR in 21hrs 12m in the opposite direction on Thursday 15th December.
Only two people had previously completed a solo unsupported winter BG. Martin Stone in 1987 and Shane Ohly in 2020.
Carmine De Grandis returned to the Lake District to play carols on his harmonica. Sadly the weather prevented him from going up Helvellyn again; instead it was held in Glenridding Village Hall in aid of Climbers Against Cancer and Mountain Rescue. You can donate donate here.
