Ultra Runner
A driven and slightly mad cyclist and runner who doesn’t seem to stop smiling. Born and raised in Yorkshire and having spent many years teasing endurance sport through weekends in the Lake District as a teenager, Casper set the ball rolling by making holidays out of mountain bike stage racing. Having competed on many stunning, dry and warm courses in search of the best views, trails, food, drink, people and relaxation he started to run hilly ultras in 2011 but the bike was always his main mode of transport in races. However, in the last year or so Casper has begun to increase his interest in ultra running and this new focus has seen a successful Bob Graham Round, a new Lakeland 50 course record and a second place at the World Series Ben Nevis Ultra, reported as the toughest ultra race in the UK.
