Charlotte Walters – Swimmer

Club: Wrexham Swimming Club
I currently train 7 times a week, both morning and night with Wrexham Swimming Club. I have 3 main competitions a year that take place down in Swansea. In between these competitions, I have to compete in smaller qualifying competitions to earn my place. Throughout my 8 years in swimming this is what I have achieved:
Achievements:
- 2 Welsh age group records
- 8 Welsh gold medals, 3 silvers and 4 bronze
- Currently 3rd in Wales for my event (50m breaststroke) in all ages (behind Wales’ Olympic and Commonwealth swimmer)
- Schools champion
- British Nationals qualifier in pervious years
- North Wales champion in all breaststroke events for consecutive years
- Top girl achiever in Wrexham Swimming Club
Aims:
- British national qualifier 2017
- Winner of Welsh Nationals in my events
- Be a top supporting ambassador of Mountain Fuel
