Lakeland 100/50 Results

There were the usual highs and lows at Lakeland 100/50 this weekend. After last year’s heat, this year it was torrential, non-stop rain from Saturday morning which made conditions very tough underfoot.

There were some great runs by the ladies in both the 50 and the 100 mile races. Emma Stuart was first lady in the 100 and Katie Kaars Sijpesteijn broke the ladies course record and Sabrina Verjee came second. Ali Bailey won the 100 in 20:46:02.
