This weekend was the last of the English Fell Championships, the Langdale Horseshoe.

Brennan Townshend came 2nd both in the Langdale Horseshoe race and also 2nd overall in the Championships – well done Brennan. Brennan is now looking forward to the World Mountain Running Championships in Thailand as he runs for Team GB over the 40km distance.

Nic Jackson won for the ladies at the Langdale Horseshoe and Matt Elkinton won the mens race.

This weekend was also Lakes in a Day, where Jarlath Mckenna set a new record of 8:40:46. Jasmin Paris was first lady in 10:19:30.
