This weekend was the Salomon Skyline Scotland, with a variety of races on offer and the best of ultra and fell runners pitting themselves against the Scottish Skyline.

Many congratulations to Jacob Snochowski who came 2nd in the new Lochaber 80, along with Eoin Lennon who was 3rd. Katie Kaas Sijpesteijn was 7th overall and 1st lady, with Emma Stuart coming 2nd lady and 11th overall. In the Ring of Steall, Pawel Cymbalista came 6th place.

Over in Italy, at the IAU European 24hour championships, we saw Aleksandr Sorokin smash his own 24hr record and run 319.6kms (197 miles). Damian Carr ran 260.4kms, gaining himself 15th place. Both of the UK mens and ladies teams came 4th. Well done everyone!
