Results from the Cheviot Goat and Daytona 100.

As we head into Christmas, the iconic Cheviot Goat was held in the traditionally wintery conditions, while the opposite could be said for those racing in Miami this weekend.

• Donnie Campbell won the Cheviot Goat in 10.29.11, with Ellis Bland coming 2nd in 10.57.32 and Daniel Weller in 3rd just after him in 10.58.35. Nicky Spinks won for the ladies in 13.34.45, with Sabrina Verjee coming 2nd in 14.22.15 and Vicky Savage in 3rd in 14.39.39. Mountain Fueller Antonio Codina finished in 15.30.35. • Mountain Fueller Mark Walsh completed his first Marathon in a fantastic time of 2:23:08.
• Sarah Sawyer was 5th overall and 3rd lady at the Daytona 100 in Florida – great to see 3 ladies in the top 5 of this 100 mile race.
