Weekend Round Up

This weekend was World Trail Champs qualifier at Scafell Pike marathon. The top 2 qualify if they fit the criteria but selections are confirmed over the next week or so. Well done and fingers crossed for Nic Jackson 1st lady and Billy Cartwright 2nd male with Tom Adams 3rd, George Foster 5th, Jonny Cox 7th and Dan Connolly 8th.

Runar Saether won the Barlatay Trail 50k. He said –

“After a very disappointing race at the Mozart100 earlier this summer, and figuring out some health issues, it felt really good to win the Trail Barlatay 50k race this weekend. A super course with lots of climbing, a beautiful ridge and proper East Yorkshire conditions….in the swiss mountains Loved it!

A massive thank you to my coach @vo2maxcoaching and to @lauraibakker for putting up with me even at my most frustrated….I know I can be a real pain!
