Nick Grainge is the founder of Elite Outdoor Fitness. He is a coach in fell, cross country and weighted mountain running, cycling, swimming, CrossFit together with strength and conditioning training.
Nick is a highly successful athlete, expedition leader, and served in the UK Special Forces for many years. He has won competitions internationally across a range of events including 5ks, 10ks, sprint triathlons, cross fit competitions, ultra-mountain race. Nick has recently broken two world records carrying 80lb on a marathon and 100lbs on a half marathon.

I run for Dark Peak Fell runners and have represented Team BG. I work at a few different clinics as a Physiotherapist in Sheffield, The Whitehouse Sports Injuries Clinic, Kim Baxter Physiotherapy and Underground Fitness. I specialise in treating sports, mostly running injuries, using soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisations, acupuncture, taping and rehabilitation exercises. I also lead weekly Strength and Conditioning Circuits for runners, aimed at injury prevention and recovery.
