“I love Mountain Fuel, particularly when I use the whole system on race days. The Sports Jellies are best gels I’ve ever used and the flapjack bars are so much easier to eat on the run than other bars I’ve used.” Jon Albon, World Trail Running Champion

I have also struggled for nutrition on longer fell and trail races until I tried Mountain Fuel energy drink. I now use the full range of night, morning, energy and recovery drinks.
They sit well on the stomach and provide a long lasting energy boost during a race and the recovery drink does speed up recovery times.
    Keep up the good work.

Intrigued to try it as I had discovered that I was getting fatigued through lack of proper nutrition. So far the sample pack has been very successful and I’m planning my next purchase.

Having used Mountain Fuel Xtreme Energy Fuel for a number of marathons, ultra-marathons and multi stage events (not to mention in training) I was confident in my choice in taking Mountain Fuel Xtreme Energy Fuel to the 32nd edition of the Marathon Des Sables (2017). I have always found Mountain Fuel Xtreme Energy Fuel to be a great combination of energy source and electrolytes. I took both the blackcurrant and tropical flavours using one each per day. They both tasted great and I had no issues in the heat. Mountain Fuel Xtreme Energy Fuel was easy to mix and very light on the stomach. The MDS is a 150 mile, 6 stage event in the Sahara Desert where competitors are self-sufficient having to carry all their kit and food throughout the race. This means maintaining sufficient hydration and nutrition whilst keeping pack weight to a minimum is of paramount importance. I will happily continue to use Mountain Fuel Xtreme Energy Fuel as my preferred race fuel.

Got a free sample of the Xtreme energy fuel at an event which I used on a long run and found that it worked really well. Ordered the taster pack and have used it again on two more long runs (20miles) and it seemed to do the trick both in terms of energy and re-hydration. I tend to dehydrate easily, but felt great throughout my runs sipping on this. Both flavours taste nice. I also tried the recovery drinks. Only one sachet of each so too early to comment on performance but they both tasted really nice. Night time recovery drink was a nice treat with hot milk. Buff that came with taster pack spot on too. Will certainly be buying more!

Great product. Just started using it recently and it is great addition to my nutrition. I don’t have to worry if I’m eating enough right things anymore.

A friend gave me a sachet of tropical flavour extreme energy to try. It was delicious – I tried it on a 13 mile training run on the south downs.

Mountain Fuel was lovely based on this run – which is a great start!! i tried was completely different. It’s not often I drink all of my 2 x 500ml bottles during a training run – I did this time though. I always struggle to drink enough, especially during 100 mile races because I lose the appetite for liquids and also food at times.

I am definitely going to stock up for training and for my canalslam races in 2018. First up 145 miles along the Grand Union Canal in may !! Thanks guys.

I received a sample of this recovery powder and used it after a 50k race not knowing what to expect. It mixed really well using a shaker bottle and tasted fantastic. The next day I had no muscle soreness and felt the best I’d ever felt post-race. This is now a firm part of my training and post-race routine and I’ve switched to Mountain Fuel for all my nutrition now.

Absolutely perfect for race morning or before a long training run. I’ve mixed it with porridge and used with water or milk in a shaker and had as a drink alongside my breakfast. Even with water the taste is very pleasant (an oaty type flavour). I’ve found a noticeable difference in how much energy I have towards the end of a long session when using Morning Fuel compared to just a normal breakfast. I use Mountain Fuel products because they’re the only sports nutrition company I’ve ever found where I actually notice a real difference in my performance when I use them. Thanks guys!

Having tried several other ‘electrolyte drinks’ from various companies, I’ve not really felt they lived up to exactly what it said on the tin (or packet). Xtreme Energy is very different, and incredibly effective. From the very first time I used it I noticed a huge difference, I used to suffer with cramp fairly often toward the end of a long race, but when equipped with this stuff I haven’t had any whatsoever, Even towards the end of a hard Three Peaks Fell Race when the tell-tale signs of fatigue and cramp started to threaten, by keeping topped up with Xtreme Energy from a soft-flask I was able to avoid all problems and finish strongly. My normal pre-race routine also includes sipping away at a 500ml bottle of Xtreme from around two hours before the race begins. That way my body gets a head start and I just have to keep topping up- and it works wonders! Thanks guys!

Chocolate Recovery shake. This stuff is ridiculously good. I’ve used it many times over the last few months, usually after big training runs and hard fell races such as the Three Peaks and Edale Skyline. On all occasions I was able to get out for a run the very next day. Surely evidence enough that this is magic recovery powder…? I use Mountain Fuel products because they’re the only sports nutrition company I’ve ever found where I actually notice a real difference in my performance when I use them, so thanks guys!

If you want a good night’s sleep before a race or training session, a recovery drink afterwards, or just a nice evening drink then this is the stuff for you! Unlike most normal hot chocolate sachets which taste a bit weak when hot water is used instead of milk, Night Fuel tastes amazing and very chocolaty with just water. Much less hassle, especially if you’re camping, on a multi-stage race or just can’t be bothered boiling up some milk. I use Mountain Fuel products because they’re the only sports nutrition company I’ve ever found where I actually notice a real difference in my performance when I use them. Thanks guys!

Used on recent Lakeland Trails ultra in the blazing July heat. 55km of not needing to worry. Energy sorted, no stomach issues – taste was brilliant with no aftertaste or residue. I swapped between the two, tropical and blackcurrant, to prevent flavour fatigue. Easy/light to carry in pack and super simple to open at checkpoints. Will be back for more.
