With the gluten free and vegan Mountain Fuel FeelGoodBars, we’ve put together a perfect blend of 100% natural ingredients to produce a bar that is easy on the stomach;  the ‘Go-To Energy Bar For Every Endurance Athlete’. You can ‘EAT’ this bar on the go… how may bars have you tried to eat on the go and simply can’t get them down?! Typically, flapjacks and bars contain butter or golden syrup as a base… we don’t as these ingredients aren’t the healthiest nor do they make for easy eating on the go as they clag up in your mouth. We use a premium blend of functional, not ‘faddy’ ingredients that deliver results.

Each bar contains a blend of ingredients that complement one another and also include a blend of simple and complex carbohydrate, omega 3 essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants, micronutrients, vitamins, and complete protein.

You need more than just energy from your foods, during exercise you need to consume foods that are easily absorbed in the stomach, can replenish your muscles, aid digestion, reduce inflammation and spare your carbohydrate by aiding fat oxidation meaning that you can go harder for longer.

Ginger
Ingredients: Golden Flax Seed (20%), Dark Brown Sugar, Coconut Oil (18%), Gluten Free Oats (17%), Grape Juice Concentrate, Buckwheat Flour (7%), Chicory Syrup, Ground Ginger (2%), Rapeseed Oil, Pink Himalayan Salt (0.5%), Natural Ginger Flavour (0.1%). Allergens in bold.

    Moved to these bars a number of months ago, I’m an ultra runner and also own an adventure company and these have become the go to bar for me. The bars are very easy to eat on the move and that’s critical in our game, the texture is perfect and make it easy on your stomach.

    The kcal is perfect and I find them very consistent and reliable. So for me Mountain Fuel has become the go to company for my race and training nutritional needs.

    The service and delivery is always on point and that can’t be said for a number of other companies.

    These are really light, easy to digest and taste great. I use them as my breakfast for early morning runs and pre-race. As an IBS sufferer they really do digest easily and there are one of the few things I’m able to eat just before and during a run, beyond the usual gels.

    I was looking for a high carb, easy to digest and tasty flapjack and I was recommended these by my brother. I’m building up to some really long distance & duration rides which will involve about 16 hours on the bike and I wanted something to sustain me throughout. In all my training rides so far these have been brilliant – easy to digest, tasty and full of energy. Orange & Tumeric is my favourite followed by ginger – highly recommended!

    Tried all the flavours. All practically a lovely, delivering quality kcals on the go!

    The Date one if definitely my favourite, probably coz I tastes sweeter than the others.

    Had I couple during Europe’s Toughest Mudder last year. Generally I have as a breakfast on race days or as a snack before longer training when I need to get to calories in.

    Now are a permanent item in my MF basket 😊

    As an endurance mountain bike racer I need slow release fuel which is easy to digest. These melt in the mouth flapjacks totally fit the bill! Ginger is my favourite, but others are great too. These are also in keeping with my gluten-free lifestyle!

    I bought 3 to try after long runs in the mountains, as I lose my appetite on completion. These are really nice and a the unique favour (Turmeric and Orange) means they get readily scoffed. Have not tried during a run, as gels seem to see me through.

    These flapjacks melt in your mouth, they’re so easy to eat. Take a bite and after a couple (literally!) of chews it’s like they just dissolve on your tongue. Normally i’m trying to battle between eating and breathing, but with these you can do both 🙂 They’re the easiest food to get down while you’re running. So far I have only tried the Turmeric and Orange flavour while running (the other two flavours while cycling), but I have just ordered a few more taster packs to try all 3 flavours while running.     I don’t like eating unhealthy foods when running. I don’t when I’m training so why do that when I’m running? That would be mad. I so like these. They are easy to eat. They have all the right ingredients. I’m nearing the end of my training for a 50 mile ultra. On my 26 mile training run yesterday these worked a treat. I’ve ordered more the the big day!

    Have just got onto Mountain Fuel feel good bars in my training for 100km race in July and so far all I have needed has been a bar to last me 140 minutes of training in the trails etc. Awesome tasting all flavours are fab but Ginger top stuff and next fave is Orange & Turmeric. Safe to say I have ordered stuff for my race season. Awesome company!
