With the gluten free and vegan Mountain Fuel FeelGoodBars, we’ve put together a perfect blend of 100% natural ingredients to produce a bar that is easy on the stomach;  the ‘Go-To Energy Bar For Every Endurance Athlete’. You can ‘EAT’ this bar on the go… how may bars have you tried to eat on the go and simply can’t get them down?! Typically, flapjacks and bars contain butter or golden syrup as a base… we don’t as these ingredients aren’t the healthiest nor do they make for easy eating on the go as they clag up in your mouth. We use a premium blend of functional, not ‘faddy’ ingredients that deliver results.

Each bar contains a blend of ingredients that complement one another and also include a blend of simple and complex carbohydrate, omega 3 essential fatty acids, anti-oxidants, micronutrients, vitamins, and complete protein.

You need more than just energy from your foods, during exercise you need to consume foods that are easily absorbed in the stomach, can replenish your muscles, aid digestion, reduce inflammation and spare your carbohydrate by aiding fat oxidation meaning that you can go harder for longer.

    These are my go to bars for ultra running. Easy to eat, just melt tin the mouth and so easy to swallow. I find some other energy bars very hard to eat when I’m running especially when I don’t feel hungry. But these are absolutely fab.
    I get one of each flavour, Ginger is my fave but the others are so nice too

    I first discovered these amazing bars during The Lap ultra around Windermere, and I have been using them for some hefty mileage and further ultra events ever since! Do not be put off by their smaller size. They are so tasty and are a fantastic dense source of long lasting energy. Not sickly in the slightest and a great change to the usual gels/sugary sweets. No GI issues either, so totally reliable in races as well as long training runs and easy to eat on the go.

    I’ve been using the Bar Energy Flap Jacks for a few years. I’ve used them for ultra marathon training when I’ve been out on the hills for several hours & need to sustain my energy levels. They are easy to nibble on. I’ve also used them in ultra events. Most recently I used them on Chester Ultra when I was struggling with the checkpoint food. Luckily I had packed an emergency supply.

    Trying these out as an alternative to usual gels to use on the Cotswold ultra marathon.
    Like the flavour and think they male a great change to the usual sweet sticky gels/sweets.
    They hold their shape enabling you to eat on the move without losing most of it to the trail.
    Best of all, no gastric issues 🙂

    I was recommended MF by Nick Grainge especially for endurance events and these bars were part of my nutrition plan for during the event. These bars pack a punch energy wise yet super easy to eat on the move and tastes great. Check out the Night Fuel and Recovery drinks which I used too and helped massively.

    Double ginger feel good bars have literally saved me from the dreaded DNF on two races now. On an especially brutal 20 mile trail race with 10 miles of climbing I was so overcome with nausea that I really did think I’d have to call it a day. But on eating about a quarter of one of these bars my nausea disappeared and my energy came back and I was able to complete the race. I now always carry one of these bars on every long race. They are so easy to eat on the move and really do give you an energy boost.

    I’ve got nothing against the orange and turmeric ones, but the date ones and the ginger ones are my favourites! I cut them into four, and put them in small ziplock bags for my ultra running events and practice runs. This is just under 100 kcal, so it fits in with my regime of having around 100 kcals every 20 minutes. Easy to swallow and tastes great. Easy on the stomach. Not much chewing. They melt in the mouth.

    Wow these taste good! The Date are amazing and my favourites!

    They look like standard flapjacks, but they are crazy easy to eat, they require minimal chewing and melt in the mouth.

    I had been experimenting with different energy bars for awhile, some where just ok, others were harder to stomach over longer periods, I went to an event, where mountain fuel had a stand, I bought a few bars and gels, thought I’d give them ago, so pleased I did, they are my go to energy fuel, so easy to stomach, I don’t have a favourite bar, as they are all good, I find these bars work so well, I now carry less food, so less weight, you can’t go wrong with these bars and gels, I’m now starting to use once products from MF, so far so good
