“I use Sports Jelly for my races, they are a great product... soft flavour and the consistency is great, even without water and it doesn’t feel like a paste in the mouth.”

Kilian Jornet, World Champion Endurance Runner Jan 2020

“I love Mountain Fuel, particularly when I use the whole system on race days. The Sports Jellies are the best gels I’ve ever used and the flapjack bars are so much easier to eat on the run than other bars I’ve used.”

Jon Albon, World Trail Running Champion / Obstacle Race World Champion

Two years in the making and tested in extreme races across the world our hydrogel based Mountain Fuel Sport Jelly is a easy on the stomach, tasty and a refreshing alternative to the current marketed sports gels. Our unique blend of ingredients ensure that you can rely on our Sports Jelly as part of a successful performance nutrition strategy during all activities, including team games, running, triathlons, and cycling sportive events, as well as open water swimming.

The Sports Jelly is fundamentally different to a traditional sports gel. We selected a specific pectin which enables us to encapsulate the multi source carbohydrate in a natural hydrogel, melting in your mouth and passing through your system without any worries of GI (stomach issues), while providing a sustained energy release. The process we follow enables us to hydrate the jelly while encapsulating the carbohydrate and minerals to ensure you do not require additional fluid and the Jelly passes through your system efficiently making it very easy on the stomach – No gut bombs and perfect for sporty kids through to adults. By utilising g a hydrogel in a sports gel we have helped athletes of all abilities who previously struggled or simply could not use traditional energy gels due to the impact on their digestive systems. Having successfully helped IBD & IBS customers to enjoy their racing again the Mountain Fuel Sports Jellies have been described by many as ‘game changers’.

My now ‘go-to’ sports energy gel for ultra marathons Love these. Cannot recall how I first heard of them but just stocked up after running out of initial supply. They taste just off-neutral, not sugary sweet like so many other more recognised brands. Goes down gullet well and not sticky at all. I use these in combination with Tailwind energy drink and natural foods to supplement my longer runs and events

I find these easy to consume, they pack the biggest carb punch and they give me zero gastro issues and as I’m lazy I just fill up a small soft flask to save me opening individual packs when I’m completing ultras. Have been using MF for 3 years the jellies hit different to the other sickly gels made by the competition. MF any chance you’d supply larger ‘ bulk’ gel batches for this purpose?

As so many other have shared this product really is easy to consume and no after effects or runs to find a bathroom..

After trying and failing with so many products this has been a life saver for my marathon training and runs. Great taste, easy to open and gentle in my stomach.. win win

I use these and the cola gels on my long runs. Zero stomach issues despite taking every 30mins. Lovely flavour and consistency.

Orlando Buckland · 1 month ago ·

I find these gels absolutely epic for race day. Easy to eat and zero uncomfortable belly. Just pure reliable pulses of energy as and when needed. Took me easily over the last 20k in my first 100k last year. Keeping me at target pace with zero hassles.

I use these in conjunction with the Orange Sports Jellies; also by Mountain Fuel and also fantastic. Generally, I use these ones on my Ultramarathons when I pass the 70% distance mark to give me a second wind from the caffeine. Much like the other product, they are easy to stomach, zero GI issues, are tasty, and do not get sickly even with repeated use. I have found that using this gel at a "low" really reverses both energy and morale issues. Most recently, this saved me from a DNF at the 80km mark when I couldn't eat any more solids by giving me what I needed to do that last 22km and bring it home. I will never run long distance without these.

These were recommended to me by another runner last year when I was having issues with Ultramarathon fuelling, and they're all I've used since for runs of any distance. Zero digestion issues at all, and I took them at least once an hour for 19 hours in a row on one race. Taste is good. Energy delivery is good. No sickliness even with repeated use. I've noticed a huge difference in my ability to fuel myself over long distance since switching. Would 100% recommend to others.

This is the gel I use the most & return to after sampling multitudes of other varieties. Pre, during, & post-race this gel works for me the best. Easy to consume, great taste (not too sweet or weird tasting), very easy on the gut.
