Successful Weekend for Team Mountain Fuel

Well done everyone who was racing last weekend!

 

Katie Kaars Sijpesteijn made the most of the weather running the Kong Adventure Keswick 2 Riggs course as a warm up and then racing it and finishing 2nd lady.

 

Kirsty Hall (see below) would usually be in the mix but graciously gave everyone a 10 min head start but followed this up on Sunday with a win at the Birks Loops fell race.

Ricky Lightfoot hit the road again and was 4th in the 10 mile Brampton to Carlisle road race in 51:03 with Steve Angus breaking the hour in 59:53.

 

Dan Knight with a half marathon PB at the Conwy Half Marathon.

 

James Appleton (see below) was 2nd at Kendal Mountain Festival 10k

Angela Joiner-Handy PT 5th overall, 1st v45 and team silver at the Eastern X Country Champs.

 

Gary House 8th in the Brecon Beacons Ultra (76km) in 7hrs 16mins.

 

Paul Haigh beat the cyclists home at Harriers v Cyclists.

 

All round, a great weekend for Team Mountain Fuel athletes!
